Editor(s)? Translator(s)? Publisher? Date of publication? How do we even go about discovering this important information that whoever uploaded this book preferred to keep secret?

Subject: Incomplete Greek Septuagint
Subject: Incomplete Greek Septuagint
I'm writing this review to express my disappointment with the incomplete nature of this interlinear Bible. It claims to base itself on the Old Testament of the Greek Septuagint, yet is missing several of the books that appear in the Greek text. Where is Judith, the Esdras, the Maccabees, and so forth? This is much more a Protestant Bible which bases its canon on Rabbinic Judaism, rather than the fuller text of the early Church and Hellenistic Judaism as would appear in a true Greek Bible. I'd also want to call out traxxion's review for his clear lack of understanding of the early Church and the canon used in Greek, as his flawed review was also a reaction to another who pointed out the lacking nature of this copy. Unless this copy is somehow changed to include all 51 books of the Greek, then I'm afraid I'll have to give this a low review and advise those interested in the early Church, the Septuagint, and the Orthodox faith to be wary with this truncated text.

THIS WORD FOR WORD SEPTUAGINT TRANSLATION BREAKS DOWN JOEL 2:8 BETTER THAN BRENTON’S, KJV AND THE MASORETIC TEXT. IT MAKES MORE SENSE THAN THE OTHERS! THANK YOU FOR THIS!

Thank you for such a wonderful work. I know this was very time consuming and I appreciate everything provided. This is everything I was looking for to help me in my studies of the old Testament LXX. Again thank you so much for all your labor.

The Book of job has only 26 chapters and many versicles have errors.
Including an introduction describing to which Greek version of the Septuaging the interlinear corresponds to would be welcome..

Who is evidently unaware of the fact that neither the Jews nor the "Church" (presumably meaning Roman Catholic??) had any such "canon" and they would both be different "canons" in any case. Also the Greek Orthodox of course used the Septuagint, but the Catholic discarded it in favour of the Vulgate, so...
I cannot rate the document on experience, but to balance out this appalling and ridiculous rating for the reasons given I will assign a 3 at least. There are of course other volumes like Brenton LXX which include the Apochrypha and if that is what you want instead, go for it. I recommend considering the Septuagint for the fact that it is the most oft quoted text family in the New Testament and resolved many textual issues that arose from the Latin Vulgate "fudging" of Hebrew readings which did not match the LXX, inherited in many English translations to this day. It was also for the most part the Old Testament of the early church.

Subject: Not the LXX . . .
Subject: Not the LXX . . .
This is not the full Septuagint. Rather, it is someone's bowdlerization of it, because he or she can't accept that Jews and, then, the Church accepted a longer canon of the Old Testament before, during, after the time of Christ. Thumbs down.

This interlinear, as all interlinear translations are, is good for basic speed reading of the LXX. If one wants some sort of critical apparatus, then one could use:
